Plan peak coverage
Temporary demand needs a clear window, not a vague request for more people.
Locate the pressure
Identify the tasks and shifts where volume exceeds normal capacity. Separate the work that needs additional people from delays caused by equipment, space or missing information.
Prepare the support
Additional workers need orientation, supervision and access to the tools required. Confirm those resources before the start date. Staffing and worksite readiness are part of the same plan.
Review the next shift
Use current volume and work remaining to plan the next period. Communicate changes through one agreed contact. A short review rhythm is more useful than repeatedly replacing the whole plan.
