Know the destination
Check the full address, unit number, entrance and arrival time. A large industrial property may have several reporting points. Plan the journey around the actual shift start rather than the building address alone.
Know the preparation
Confirm clothing and protective equipment expectations. Bring the assignment details and ask about anything unclear before the day begins. Do not assume equipment experience automatically authorizes use at a different site.
Know the contact route
Keep the agreed contact details available for travel delays or assignment questions. At the site, identify the supervisor and follow the orientation instructions. Ask before proceeding if a task is unfamiliar.
